Melissa McMillan, Owner, CEO, and Certified Surgical Assistant with First Choice Surgical Assisting Inc. (FCSA). Graduated from Bowling Green State Vocational school, as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) and worked for a number of years in this position. During this time, she gained an appreciation for the work of the Surgical Assistant. This was her inspiration to become a Certified Surgical Assistant training via the National Surgical Assistant Association (NSAA) in 1992. She worked for Southern Surgical Assistants doing Laparoscopic GYN and General cases in the Atlanta, GA area for 12 years. Then in 2012, she branched out and created First Choice Surgical Assisting Inc. providing the highest level of skill and professionalism for both the surgeons and patients.

She is regarded as expert in the field of Robotic Surgery and assists with the teaching of the Emory University Residents for Urology, when it comes to Robotic cases, she provides a high level of skills and knowledge in: Urology, General, Colorectal, GYN, ENT, Thoracic, and Bariatrics.
